Before Adam dashing forward grabbing the dragon's head before brutally pomeling the green beast with simultaneous punches into his head while on headlock for it managed to rebuttal him smashing Adam into several pillars before being able to halt Dvalin advance.
Before sending an uppercut that, directly into Dvalin jaw sending the beast upward crashing to the ceiling, causing him to reel back from the impact of the punch.
Following by a left hook with the same strength as the first one. Adam began to unleash a combo of left and right punches at dragon then finishing him off with a backflip kick on the dragon's jaw again that knocking him back away with a few meters.
Dvalin managed to recover as he charged at the mercenary attempt to bite him again, however but Adam intercepted him as he grabbed his mouth... Locking both of them in a tug-of-war for a moment before Adam eventually overpowered him and pushed off, Dvalin away from him.
Adam sends a right uppercut at the dragon then finishes him off with a lunar phase kick on the head as Adam begins charging, his finisher attack.

His body began to crackle with red electricity around his body before, heading straight from his body into his right arm as it began discharging red electricity around it as Adam unleashed the right hook directly, connects at the dragon's face that sends Dvalin flying into the wall of the tower.

The mercenary fell on his knees while still feeling completely exhausted, trying to catch his breath.... soon Aether and the rest arrived as only sees a knocked out dragon and exhausted mercenary, who's on the verge of passing out.

Diluc and Jean quickly rush to his aid and assist him to stand up,
Dvalin was saved by the group, asking Venti why he did not ask him for his protection.
Venti states that while he didn't want him to listen to the Abyss Order, he did not necessarily want him to obey Venti, either, and that if he had ordered him to act free, it wouldn't be true freedom.
Dvalin then flies off, reassured that no one is after him.
Meanwhile, Jean clears up the misunderstanding between the people and Dvalin, who they believed came out of nowhere to attack and disappeared just as quickly.
After returning to the city, the group is greeted by Amber, who reveals that while they were dealing with Dvalin, she and the other knights repelled a coordinated hilichurl attack on the city.
She wondered where Kaeya had gone during the attack, and tells them to meet up with her at Good Hunter.
At the tavern, they find Kaeya, who tells them that he was suspicious of the attack and remained in the city while everyone else was fighting at the ancient ruins, intercepting a group of Abyss Order infiltrators and besting them.
He learned from the infiltrators that the Abyss Order is united under a single leader.
