You and your future

During the Advanced Analytics Young Professional Program you are going to develop your career over 18 months by becoming an expert in your field. Throughout the program you will stay in one team and receive training to further develop your hard skills. You will get a buddy who guides you in finding your way within the bank. In the field of your personal development, you and your fellow starters follow the Pioneer Program and you will receive 1-on-1 coaching from your talent manager. We prepare you for your own personal success! 

In this program, you will be in charge of your career and your own learning curve. Rabobank helps you on your way and supports you to grow by motivating you to step out of your comfort zone.

Imagine… building up your network of people interested in quantitative subjects, both in- as well as outside of the bank. As a Model Validator of Credit Models, you can make a difference by reviewing quantitative models from all parts of the bank, interacting with different stakeholders, analysing and presenting your results, sharing and building your quantitative knowledge. Collaboration and diversity is at the heart of everything we do. Our Credit Model Validation department brings talented people of a multitude of backgrounds together to review credit risk models from the whole bank.

What can you expect at the end of the program?

Examples

• You will perform validations of credit risk models (to be) used in Rabobank developed by model development.
• Perform quantitative analyses in support of your conclusions
• You have to cooperate a lot with our important stakeholders in model development, risk management and the business.

Practical

• The duration of the program: 18 months. 
• The start date: October 1, 2024. 
• 40 Hours workweek. About 10-15% of your weekly working time is spent on personal development, training and other activities. The other hours are spent working within your team. 
• Every Friday afternoon is Advanced Analytics Professional Afternoon at the office!

You and your talent

Customer focus, strong stakeholder management, eagerness to learn more and being a team playerare clearly essential for the role of Model Validator. In addition, the below list portrays some requirement for the role.

• At the start of the program, you have obtained a master's degree or a doctorate in quantitative field like Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Data Science etc. and are thus analytically strong. 
• You have programming experience. Knowledge of Python/SQL is nice to have.
• You have fluency in English language, both in writing and oral communication.
• You are a team player.

This is what we offer you

• A salary of € 3.791,07 gross per month (scale 7).
• A 13th month's salary and vacation pay.
• An Employee Benefit Budget (10% of your monthly salary). Employees may use this budget at their own discretion, for example, the EBB can be used to buy extra vacation days or to make an additional deposit in your retirement fund. Employees can also opt to have the EBB paid out to them as part of their monthly salary. 
• A personal budget that you can spend on activities related to your personal development and career.
• A combination of working from home and from the office.
