Stats and xp.

I love this game and love how competitive it gets with vs another person in different genre of music. But I think there should be like a whole stat line on your progress, on your win percentage is all time, also the winning percentage on every month. Also have your win loss record. Also think there should be like different genre percentage. Meaning like which genre your really good at or if you have a low percentage in a certain genre you can work on it to get better at it. Also think there should be like a ranking system to see where place at all time in the app and based it on the w-l record and the all time win percentage. Also one last thing is that I think if you get to the point where you unlocked the double exp for the month that every time you level up a playlist that the exp for that playlist should be double exp as well. That’s it love the game and keep up the awesome work

There is a lot to like.. but a lot to be desired.

This game makes some really weird choices. For instance. You have to be Level 25 in order to even Like a song, you have to be level 15 to Chat with friends, that’s right the ability to CHAT is locked behind a Level wall. Something as simple as changing your profile pic will require you to be Level 16. This in its self wouldn’t be such a problem, if the game didn’t have what it call a “Experience Cap”. You can only earn so much. EXP a day, you can break that cap, by using the games premium currency, which means you will have to spend some money, just to level up! This makes it really hard to stay engaged in the first place, I like the idea of being able to play against another person all while discovering new artists you thought you’d never be into, but this game makes a lot of weird choices, I’m not a big fan of all these Level restrictions, why must I be a certain level to customize or like a song I thought was pretty cool? I have Apple Music so whenever I find a song I just look it up on there and add it to my library, and this is one of the games strongest aspects, discovering new tunes. It’s hard to recommend, simply because of the absurd Level restrictions the game requires you to have to even express yourself.

If you have the coin...

SongPop has generally been a game that forces a premium on you for user benefits; but in this version, it’s even more pushed onto the player with my least favourite feature added, which is the daily gold and exp cap. The game perpetuates a need to pay over this hurdle in two ways: you can either buy the premium (which is $9.99/mo, overpriced for a game of this nature), or use gems that are given from time to time, or bought using the in-game store. And the game has no shortage of reminding you that there’s always the option to pay for a premium by annoying you with reward blockades that always offer a premium reward bonus even if you’ve completely refused to take the premium multiple times. Other than the obvious cash grab the game presents, it’s an average “guess the game” quiz that only has a few feature additions and UI changes from its previous iteration in SongPop 2. Some of the response times are rather slow, especially on rewards blockades and the song library. If there is something that I can appreciate about this game compared to the last, it’s that unnecessary notifications don’t flood my game... for now. That’s all I have to say about my experience.

Bug fixes an accessibility review.

There is some bugs with VoiceOver that I’ve been noticing, within SongPop. When you go to accept the challenge using voiceover, you can’t dismiss the dialogue while using voice over. I experienced, that when I go to accept a challenge, I have to turn VoiceOver off that way I can be able to close out of that dialogue. If y’all can fix that right away, I would really appreciate it. Plus, the advertisem*nts are not accessible whenever I close them. I have to close and reopen the app to close some ads. However, some advertisem*nts are closable with voiceover. if y’all can please find a way to fix some of these bugs, I would really appreciate it.

how do the mighty fall...

my first experience with this company was seemingly a GaJillion years ago when songPop 2 was first released, and their little game called RockOn! was functional... that game was basically an individual journey climbing Up the Stairs to The Stars of Rock ‘n’ Roll... and boy was THAT a great game!! In those days the only two games I’ve ever played on my iPhone was QuizUp and RockOn!; as of today both of those games are gone. I recently started playing SongPop 2 again, and it’s OK... although I was really surprised at the push push push towards “premium” privilege and (more importantly) monthly subscription. So I probably should not be surprised at how completely obnoxious SongPop 3 is. It has NONE of the charm of SP2 or even of RockOn!; it’s simply a head-long ride into “pay us money!” “pay us money!” “pay us money!” “every month!” “every month!” “every month!” Frankly I have never said this in a review before however there’s a first time for everything: SKIP THIS APP COMPLETELY!! It is horrible and a waste of your time, unless you *like* being shamed and made to feel less-than because you haven’t yet upgraded... to a ridiculously priced monthly subscription. Performance has drastically gone down

I started out loving to play this game but over the last few months the response has been horrible to the point now where I really can barely play at all. I have tried both from my spectrum wi-fi and my AT&T cellular data basically the same on both. I click on chats and nothing. Sometimes I open the app and the vinyl just keeps doing its animation and the game never loads. Playing a tournament and the icons just soon and soon saying selecting playlist and it never does. Forgot opening the chat screen it rarely comes up. Also playing against and opponent sometimes after I have complete my turn the opponent shows up as still needing me to play, I click on the opponent and it comes up and say timed out on the last song and completes the game so I don’t get credit for answering the last song correctly which I in fact already had done. Oh and forget playing the lives, I gave up on those a few months ago. They really need to improve the performance of this game. So very disappointing especially since I am a plus member and pay

No personalization options and another excuse to charge.

I’m probably going to stick with Version 2 and skip this one. I tried it out and found (a) there’s no way to disable the ‘game sounds’ which aren’t part of the music; these sounds are pointless, distracting, and extremely irritating. In Version 2 this noise can be turned off, but not here — hope that feature is implemented soon; and (b) the coins won during each round apparently have to be manually collected, which is both a waste of time and an opportunity for merciless solicitation to ‘upgrade’ to a “premium” level — no thanks. I’ve been playing Versions 1 and later 2 for nearly a decade and paying a monthly premium membership for much of that time. But that loyalty apparently means little to nothing to this company because recently they’ve been pushing an even higher premium membership in Version 2, which I am not touching; and now they’re trying to squeeze more money for Version 3, as soon as I played my first game of this much lower-quality sequel. No thanks; I am about ready to call it quits and cancel my Version 2 membership, as well.

Great game but 1 single mechanic ruins the game

I have been a loyal SongPop player since the first installment, but by far this is the worst one yet. I don’t know in which part of the game it begins to be implemented, but as a PSA to those that are unaware or are still getting into the game, THERE IS A COIN & XP daily limit. I understand that this is implemented along with the ads that appear every other game to motivate you to purchase their Premium pass that remove these limitations. But after loving this game until I reached Lvl 30, I began to encounter the coin limit after winning 4-5 games and after the game informs me that I have reached my limit, it motivates me further to uninstall this game. I can suffer through the adds but when the coin limit regen rate is +5 coin every 5 minutes, I have to wait hours just to play 4-5 games where before I was able to play freely until reaching level 30 for hours which I enjoyed a lot. Just a shame that this game ruins itself by putting these things in place. I hope many read this as a warning and I hope they change this in the future.

Review

I enjoy the game so much, but you creators need to understand that not all of us could pay premium, I believe that ads should want to make us get premium so you can get money, but at the same time you should understand that not all of us could afford it and I think that ads should be no longer than 15 seconds like are you for reals making them ads be 45 seconds, almost a whole minute like I think that’s so unfair, if you were to fix the ads to be at least 15 or even 20 seconds that would make the game more enjoyable and less boring. This is just my opinion to make the game a little better but it’s in your hands I just think that it makes it boring to be waiting 45 seconds just cuz we can’t pay premium and if it was less seconds of wait or even have a skip button after 10 seconds of the ad has passed! $99 a year for premium? You have lost your mind.

I’ve been a fan of SongPop since I was a young teen and have followed each game from the start, even purchasing on switch. This version has RUINED SongPop. First of all, you can’t save up coins to purchase playlists like you used to, you either have to buy them or watch an ad EVERY SINGLE TIME you use it. This takes the fun away from collecting playlists, as you have access to all of them as long as you watch a full 30 second ad for every single 20 second long match. Next, every feature you can possibly imagine is something you have to learn by leveling up 10, 15, 20 levels in order to get. I can’t even LIKE one of my favorite songs because I’m not at level 16 yet! Oh, and did I mention you have a CAP on the coins and XP you earn? But don’t worry, premium would take care of that for the low, low price of $99 a year. Are you people insane?? You have ruined this game. I’m so angry right now.

Very Distasteful

You Know How Back a few years ago everyone was complaining about how EA was ruining a bunch of beloved franchises, well this is just that except with its own property! I Loved Song Pop 2, I just got board. Song pop 3 is just a shell of song pop 2’s former glory and former self. Almost Everything is locked behind a pay wall or you just can’t access it yet. I have yet to see another app that doesn’t allow you to change your profile until you reach a certain level. This is a disgrace, only basic playlists are available, bands or artist. Sorry but you’ll have to wait. This is bull, I should have access to those. Also the amount of ads on this is insane. No worry if you don’t buy the ridiculous premium, don’t worry watching all the ads should cover the cost in about 15 to 20 maybe 25 ministers if your lucky. The ads are Atrocious, they all last about 30 seconds and even after that the time they take to load and how long it takes to exit the ad by how long it takes the x to come up is terrible. Then we get to the bugs. People bugging out for infinite game, playlists not loading, the switches for preferences not working or working too late, misclicks when no misclicks, and everything else in this app or at least it should be called a bug. If you want an app to set a bad exsample for not only a sequel but also just a terrible app in general, look at this otherwise it isn’t worth your time.

Reduce the ads without premium also without premium make it to where you can listen to music and I have all the playlists to guess two for free without watching ads make it to where you can earn tournament points to create your own tournaments by winning tournaments and then with premium ad exclusive content like early songs onto premium only early playlist on the premium only and then after the first two weeks release it for free then also a premium y’all could do a mode where you have to guess the song instrumental or just the lyrics and on premium you can make it to where they have premium clans where you can earn X extra XP and coins but on free mode you should add clans which are like groups which you can send your friends so you can play group matches

This version is horrible

I downloaded this version when SongPop Classic basically said they’re discontinuing that version so I’d have to get this one. I got a deal on the VIP since I pay for it with Classic. After that deal is up, I will no longer be lying to play this. This version makes you pass levels before you’re able to do anything, such as like songs or even change your profile picture. There is only one tournament available (classic gives like 7 to choose from), and the playlists play the same 10 songs over and over again. When you complete the first play against someone else and it’s time to choose your playlist, the order is ridiculous. The playlists I was currently playing are farther to the bottom of the choices instead of first. Sad to lose SongPop after so many years of playing but I will not continue with this version.

Not much to like

As a player of Song Pop Classic, I only recently started playing this version of Song Pop because daily missions started requiring me to do so. Overall impression: it’s like someone put ALL of their ideas into a bag, then threw them up on a table. It’s difficult to navigate and is visually very cluttered. Just too much going on for my taste. The only thing I do like is earning new frames that transfer over to my Classic app.

Song Pop 3

If you love music, you will love this game. It is a lot of fun. The only problem I have with it is there is no one to communicate with. I guess this is a sign of things to come in the future. It is going to cause a lot of frustration in the human community. They still haven’t transferred over what they need to because they keep telling me to cancel Songpop2 which is impossible to do as I have already done it & the only way to do it with this app is to repay Songpop2 so that they connect me as a paid member so Song Pop 3 can have the pleasure of cancelling my Song Pop2. So for the $10 it will cost me to fulfill your desire to do what I have already done, do I get an additional free month ? If not, why would I waste $10 connecting to something I have already done to satisfy your AI’s or Robotoids.

Terrible

I recently just deleted my subscription after years of playing, it used to be great until greed and stupidity took over. Maybe you should listen to your loyal players and not change things like making it MANDATORY to link your two apps together without even giving warning to us, that’s is pretty shady, raising the price ( which I never really cared about but still shady) Fresh Planet, I will NEVER invest in ANY of your games ever again, I am one who has spent thousands of dollars over the years and you ruined it, the game I used to love has now turned to hate, I am writing to hopefully stop even one person ( and I’m sure after your most recent changes A LOT of people who have canceled their subscription and who are as livid as I, maybe the next time you do shady stuff without even giving warnings you won’t have any more games , and frankly that’s what you deserve.

Great game but...

Amazing game it entertains Me when needed most and the features are really nice. But there are a few main problems for me that might result into deleting th game. First off there are way to many adds after one round an add and they are always telling you "would you like to continue watching adds or join for on week free." Honestly I don't want to spend my money on a VIP thing but if you aren't pressured into buying premium then you have adds everywhere. Secondly I'm a mobile user on my phone and my game always glitches out and it's really annoying and it usually happens when I am in the middle of a game and it take me to my home screen. Please get this fixed please and thank you.

Not sure yet.

While this game is a lot like SP2, it is just different enough. It does tend to get confusing as they throw. It at you every turn. Do this, do that, do the other thing. I need to figure it what some of the things are. What is a FRAGMENT? I got some of them, not sure what to do with them. I started several random games with people, and I guess they think they are to good to play with me so they basically ghost you. Took me some searching on how to get rid of those games. Basically, open that players profile, click on the three dots on the upper left and archive the game. More to come after I play a while longer. It would be nice if there was a place to see all the rules. Off to google I go!!

I’d rather stick with Songpop 2!

So far, songpop 3 is really annoying. I have to constantly watch ads to do anything. I guess I’m still stuck in the tutorial or something because when I finish a game, it won’t let me go back to my homepage, it tries to make me play another game. Maybe I’ll get used to it and the ads will stop popping up every time I do something, but I’m much more interested in Songpop 2, which I’ve been playing for years, where I don’t have to watch a million ads or mess with different currencies, and the app will let me navigate to where I want to when I want to. Plus, I already pay for the normal subscription on Songpop 2 (not that pointless even more expensive higher tier sub), so I’m not willing to start throwing money at this new version which is very tedious at best and a cash grab at worst.

Too many ads…fell forced into app downloads

This game has way too many video ads for other games. They are so aggressive! Some of them aren’t bad, some force you to get rid of it only after it brings you to App Store to download and you exit out, 1 even forced me to play a preview of the game or made me sit there for 90 seconds staring at the same screen and the worst are the ones that everytime I tried to exit of the download it brought back to the same screen where the only thing I could do was click to download and go to the App Store again it was a viscous painful cycle that only ended when I forced closed the app…only now it didn’t it was was like I was in the song pop version of Groundhog Day and it brought me right back to the same nightmare as. How is this aggressiveness even allowed!

Good but

Right whoever is reading this review good because this is what this app is really about so first of all they have amazing songs and the start they let you choose if you rap rock ‘n’ roll country pop or what you like in music but the bad thing about it is you you choose a songs yeah and that’s good but they don’t give you enough time. They never do. It’s like two seconds or five no it’s definitely four, but they barely give you enough time to write the answer I mean it’s not great. I thought it would be better. Must make account

It seems fun in theory, but you have to make an account to play. This account must be connected to an email, phone number, apple account, or Facebook account. I don’t want to use my email or phone number bc I don’t trust companies to keep that information private and not spam me with promotions. And I don’t want to connect my Facebook account because I don’t want it to have my friends list. But I don’t want to connect my apple account because I don’t plan on continuing to use apple devices after I no longer have use for my current cell phone. All of the options are terrible so I can’t play this game. Many games allow you to save locally on your device, and I don’t see why this game should be any different.

Nothing Like It's Predecessor

Absolutely AWFUL! I'd give it no stars if it was possible. I don't think a game on my phone has ever made me so angry. Laggy, no end to the game with a player, it just goes on forever, and if you want to earn coins after a VERY short period of time, you're expected to pay real cash for more time or go premium. Despite if you have players in queue waiting in turn to play, if you go on to play without purchasing gems or stones or whatever they're supposed to be in the Shop, you earn NOTHING for winning. I'm deleting this game. I loathe greedy games. Song Pop 2 manages to be fair, and the desire to fund it with real cash by purchasing stuff or going VIP is easy and doesn't feel manipulative at all. Song Pop 3 is utter garbage. I recommend not trying it, or if you have, delete it ASAP. Disgraceful.

There’s a bug in the Jukebox

It keeps on playing the same artist/band and it gives you the same score, hopefully it’s not just me but on my side, it keeps on playing “Weird Al” Yankovic for me an the score is always the same.. 2.1 points all the time and I don’t even use that artist anymore. Please fix this unless it’s supposed to use the one you use the least which is actually Slipnot. And “What year is it?!” plays the same songs for me over and over, that means leveling up the playlist is way too easy and I’m at Lv 10 on the playlist, I should also mention the PVP freezes up sometimes and some answers on playlists take too long to load.

Bad

Way too many ads and they ask you to play ads just to play a game with your playlist! Insane what they are doing so they can make money. I never buy anything from any game because it is a waste and I will delete this in a while if they continue this. The reason I gave 3 stars is because I think they have a good platform and a good selection of song choices and I really like it. I only play this because my friends are on it otherwise I would play the Apple Arcade version which has no ads and is much better. Otherwise it is an ok app and I wish for ads to appear less and no premium subscription.

Too many bugs/glitches

I have always enjoyed playing this game but the past month or so it’s been so unenjoyable! First, everything takes FOREVER to load. Launching the app, live games with friends, picking playlists, tournaments, etc. You can’t join the daily live shows because of this either, which makes us miss out on potential winnings. The chat function has been messed up too. It constantly says I have messages when I actually don’t. These glitches have been happening to everyone on my team, and to my other friends on other teams. Everyone is FED UP with it! They release “updates” every few weeks, which only seem to worsen the glitches. PLEASE FIX or a lot of members will be leaving SP3.

Not all bugs have been fixed

Since this app premiered many of us were looking forward to some new games to play. One in particular has a thorn in many people’s side and needs to be addressed. I’m speaking of the live group game (everyday at 5pm). Many of us consistently get a “low wifi connection” during the game, the ghost randomly kills us off by stating that we guessed incorrectly, sometimes it won’t let us revive, we can guess all the songs correctly and timely only to get to the end see “better luck next time” and has started to take our (imaginary) money for team spirit but then all of your teammates disappear from the game for a level. What is going on??

It has a lot to offer and a lot of issues.

I was so excited to see another version of this as I LOVE SongPop 2. I actually do like this version in terms of what they chose to do differently. But, I don’t like how you can deny or delete a challenge from someone, or how you can see your partners guess (in SongPop 2 you can turn that off), and I constantly get a “error” message anytime I try to play someone back or send games to my friends. I also don’t like how they constantly keep asking me to upgrade to VIP even though im already premium..... I think there’s a lot of good in this but also a lot that needs to be fixed. It’s kind of a nuisance to play..

Utter Cash Grab

You’d think with getting back into SongPop would be a very nice experience, however with this version of the game, you can’t even get the ability to change your profile picture until you’ve leveled up. You can’t do certain things until you’re leveled up; it may sound like I’m lazy, however some of the levels required to get things is just pure silly. Level 27 for playlists and more. And the repeated poking of “Premium” in your face gets annoying to, make no mistake that it will constantly bug you about this. It wants you to pay money for the bare minimum game experience. Would not recommend.

Potential but soooo slow and tons of bugs!

The developers need to get some help or come off the $$ they’re making and put back into the game! It has potential to be good but there are times you could take a nap while waiting for games or playlists or chats to load 🥱😴 and don’t even get me started on the live shows.. game freezes up and you turn to a ghost anytime there are more than 250 people playing! Report it and the response is like a broken record.. “the developers are aware of the problem and are working on it” (for over a year now!!) Fix the bugs or kill the game! 🤬🤬

I love SongPop 3, but your support is elusive. Everytime I sent in a question the emails have been returned from the postmaster. I had my first avcount completly deleted, and have been trying to see if I can salvage the list of my challengers. We played well together and now they are gone. I also asked for help with regular challengers because I was challenged constantly, but other than a live challlenge, I am not capable of doing this. Help me! Love it!

This is by far my fav app! It helps me learn new songs and who sings my fav ones while also keeping my mind off things in everyday life. The basic is good but if you get the premium, you get one month free and you can cancel before you the trial and still experience it without payment. Premium gives you 10 turns every time the coins refill in tournaments rather than 5 in basic. It’s a fun app that you can play with friends or random. Whatever you’d like. Try it out. Addicting fun🌈✌️

It’s way too glitchy

Ok I ALMOST thought about subscribing to this so I can be done with the ads BUT I don’t trust it. I have earned so many diamonds/jewels and they are never given to me. Coins not appearing, then the app will crash. The ad will still appear at the bottom as I’m playing and can’t get it off unless I close out the app. Why would I pay money for something like this without knowing I’d get what I earned. I enjoy this app but I’m about to be done with it due to it not giving me what I earned. Plus these ads are false advertising, I have the apps and they are no where near how they advertised them to be.

This app is very annoying. Navigating the game is a confusing mess. The restrictions of what you can do and what features you can use makes no sense. It is difficult to play because of its poor design. It is filled with infantile animations that detract from the game. For example, every time you get a song right a stupid animated hand comes in from the side to distract and annoy you. You will also be bombarded with ads pushing you to upgrade to the paid subscription. I recommend Song Pop Classic. The biggest flaw with classic is that they use it to try to push you into this horrible app. Play Song Pop Classic and say NO to Song Pop 3!

Needs work

I played the original,SongPop years ago and wondered how it was today. The concept is solid. Implementation still needs work. Too many song clips start with the artist singing the title of the song, which removes all guessing. Others start with a generic intro or pause in the song. Some song clips feature vulgarity, so be careful around kids since there is no age rating mechanism. ‘Gangata’s Paradise” has LV listed as artist rather than Coolio. The “report song” feature appears to lead to a black hole; no response or change ever comes. The “piano pop” playlist ought to be Sara Bareilles, Billy Joel, Jerry Lee Lewis, Randy Newman, Regina Spektor, Tori Amos, Elton John… you know, pop piano players. Instead it is a bizarre collection of synth and guitar-driven songs. There are so many opportunities for improvements like these. It would be nice for the developers to let crowdsourcing work it magic for QI.

Truly a fun & addicting game!

I am a huge music lover! I live this game, it helps keep my brain sharp by guessing the song. SongPop really is a fun game to play anytime, especially if you’re just looking to pass some time. I love that you can invite your opponents to play live against you as well. I can’t wait to see what other cool new features & what not Song Pop adds in the future!

Please, no more “upgrades”

I’ve played other SongPop games and enjoyed them. This one is horrible and I do have a subscription they claim I can use on this and SP Classic (formerly SP2). Or so they say. I can’t even figure out how to get back to my list of waiting games without some odd weird suggestive push to start a new game with another player or countless other “let me show you your benefits” window I seem only get out of by exiting and reentering the game. Game play and socialization (or lack there of) so much more superior on SP Classic than this pile of mess. If I also didn’t receive benefits for SPC, I’d cancel my paid subscription immediately.

Not a good App

Has potential but the app has a lot of bugs. Giving it a two out of five stars because of the potential. But the bugs make it really annoying to play. For example, when playing against another player finish the round, the game did not retain my last answer and the opener appear in screen for a match. Click continue, the game replays the my last item but it states game has timed out and will not allow a response. Another example is the tournament, where game takes forever to load a playlist.

Not good

The gameplay itself is typical SongPop, which is good. Everything else about this game is awful. I get that they need to have ads in the game, but every time I see one, there is no close button after the ad plays. Only a button to download the game that’s being advertised and brings you to the App Store. Also, part of the tutorial is to challenge someone you know. Nobody I know is playing or wants to play, but the game keeps forcing it on me and the only way to get around it is to force close the game and start it again. I deleted this game and will just stick to SongPop 2.

Song Pop 3

It won’t load and I don’t like how the design is. My main issue is I can’t see all the categories I have. It’s really annoying. I don’t like how everything on the screen is just crowded. Makes it hard for me to see/read. I think song pop classic is better than this one, but I love the colors that was used on song pop 3.

A fun game but the mass amounts of ads ruin it

The game at its core is fun and relaxing. However unless you buy premium after every game you play is an ad, it takes away from the experience and hinders the game. There is premium to remove ads but the amount of ads you get as a free player is unacceptable and should really be reduced like instead of after every game it’s every 2 games or even give us the option to watch ads for currency or fragments that would take away ads while actively playing for a specific amount of games.

Is mostly great

I love this app. It’s my favorite thing on my phone. But in the last two days I’ve lost 12,000 coins that weren’t credited properly. I’ve emailed them twice. I don’t know if they work on the weekend. The app crashing on iPhone 13 and the coin issue is the only two things. I want to keep playing this so badly because I’m level 100 and I’ve spent a small fortune on it. But this needs to get better.

Amazing

This game is fantastic. I definitely recommend this. I give this five stars because he definitely helps me with my songs. I am an artist and not a songwriter, but I still love songs. Game was good but…

I really liked the game but I deleted it for two reasons. I don’t like that the games went back and forth forever, I want to play a round and move on to another opponent. Having 10 open games at once too much. Allow for a way to end the game. Number two the notification circle would never go away. I don’t like having the red numbers all over my Home Screen. Please program it so they disappear when the game is opened.

Seems like a step backwards

Lots of features are level locked now and why is premium double the price of that of song pop 2. SongPop 2 in my opinion feels like a better deal than this new version especially at the price of 9.99 per month I hate dealing with ads and at $5 per month on SongPop 2 I didn't care but now you want double the price and the game feels more restricted no thanks sticking with Songpop 2 also carrying over playlist progress would of been nice.

Change for the worse

This game used to be extremely fun. I remember winning rounds and using my coins to buy new playlist, then working on those playlist to upgrade them and get new songs. With all of this, I have to watch an ad every time I want to pick a playlist. You put far too much behind pay walls and level walls in here. The classic song pop is so much better than this. If something doesn’t change soon, I’m just going to stop playing all together.

I can’t get past the second screen!! 🤬🤬

My little sister showed me the game and asked me to download and play with her and I have downloaded and deleted the app 20+ times trying to get it to work! It asks me my age, I put my age and hit the continue button. The second page has a bubble that pops up that says “favorite music 2000’s” and that’s it . There is no other bubbles and no button to press “continue” or anyway to get to the next step. It super frustrating. I tried deleting and re downloading it 20+ times in the span of 4 days. Super disappointed and bugged!

This ain’t it

A huge SongPop fan here. There was nothing wrong with SongPop 2. I’ll admit I’ve spent actual money on the game as a VIP member. But I tried SongPop 3 and immediately was not impressed. You have to spend coins just to level up in a playlist where as in SongPop 2 all you have to do is just play and gain experience. This version is clearly just a greedy cash grab and wouldn’t recommend spending a dime on it. To the creators of SongPop: spend more time on updating and expanding SongPop 2 cause that’s the version most people are gonna flock to.

Kind of broken…

Every time I open the app, it tells me to play a live game with someone. There is no button to decline to do this. You must click on the person and play a live game with them… or so I thought. Even if you click on the person to get the pop up to go away by playing a live game with them, it won’t load. Then your home screen is stuck loading and I cannot play my matches. Please fix this. If I am paying for this game I would really like to play it.
