I've loved UD since the day I moved in. Everyone here is always looking out for each other and the community aspect of the school is truly second to none. Even the professors are beyond caring, they often know each of their students by name no matter how large the class is. Campus is the perfect size, not large enough to overwhelm you but not small enough to be boring. The food is also top notch and is some of the best in the country. Dayton has given me so many opportunities both professionally and socially, and I will always be grateful for my time here. If I had another four years I would do it all again in a heartbeat!

I am a parent of a current student and have another one who will attend in the fall. We could not be happier with our experience at UD! Our child is thriving academically, the classes are challenging him in ways he did not expect, but support is there if needed. The experiential learning opportunities, internships and study abroad programs are exceptional. Our son has enjoyed club and intramural sports, including tennis, volleyball and basketball. Family weekend is wonderful- so much to see and do, and it is an incredibly welcoming community. In fact, if you mention Dayton to just about anyone you will hear the word ‘community’ over and over, because it is true. Housing is unique- first year dorms are pretty typical, second year are either suites or on campus apartments, and third and fourth year students are eligible to live in the famous ‘neighborhood’, houses owned and maintained by the university. Campus feels very safe, and the dining options are excellent. Love this school!

I liked just about everything to the academics, athletics, campus life, and just about everything about UD! The only thing I would like to see change is more people at UD since it is a smaller school.
